Here is a valuable link to Gareth, an actor and voice analyst in London (apparently), who provides advice on accents. I was directed to this site for St Patrick's Day as a tool for picking up an Irish accent. Of course, aping or mimicking someone's accent can be meanspirited and even offensive.
